About the Chemical Consultants Network
The Chemical Consultants Network (CCN) was established in December, 1994 as a non-profit organization, and has held monthly meetings since February, 1995. The CCN is administrated by a Steering Committee of elected officers, a committee chairmen, and two members at large. We believe that CCN is the first and only organization for consultants within the American Chemical Society. The name "Chemical Consultants Network" was adopted to reflect the purpose of the group which is to enhance its members' opportunities to use their professional expertise as consultants.
CCN has organized a computerized database and telephone consultant referral service which is manifested by this web site. The primary purpose of the CCN Web Site is a self-service consultants' resource for potential clients. Other information, such as meeting notices, links to other relevant web resources, and other information deemed useful to our members is also included.
The uniqueness of CCN has drawn national attention. CCN was mentioned in C&EN articles about consulting on April 28, 2008 and November 7, 2007 and also in ACSess. This publicity has resulted in a significant increase in CCN's membership.
Membership in CCN is open to all qualified chemical consultants. The policy of CCN is only to list paying members in this web site.
