- Co-author of 21 patents, over 50 publications and three dozen invited presentations
- Development and industrial scale demonstration of a successful method to chemically destroy methyl bromide from fumigations; it employs only non-hazardous reactants
- Design of ultra-sensitive detection methods employing nanocapsules
- Design and synthesis of various derivatizing agents containing iodine-125
- Development of a novel method enabling measurements of multi-phase flows (crude oils)
- Successful execution of a new methodology which uses PTC to transform components of byproducts and waste streams into saleable products
- Fundamental discovery of absolute enantioselective separation and a hypothesis offering an answer to the origin of homochirality problem
- Development of synthetic strategies enabling decoupling of molecular units for targeted delivery of chemo and radio-therapeutics and ultra-sensitive detection; the relevant paper was published by Chemical Reviews in November of 2012
- Co-editor and two books published by Wiley and one published by Springer including "Click Chemistry in Glycoscience" published by Wiley in 2013
- Winner of the Evonik competition for the best synthesis of benzocaine
