Specialties:
Services: Dr. Braunlin has nearly thirty years of academic
and industrial experience in biomolecular recognition, molecular biophysics,
polymer physical chemistry, and multinuclear NMR. He has pioneered studies
of unusual nucleic acid structures, and has had as a particular focus the
ionic modulation of ligand-biopolymer interactions. Experimental approaches
utilized include multinuclear and multidimensional NMR, HPLC methods,
fluorescence spectroscopy, circular dichroism, gel electrophoresis, UV
melting, equilibrium dialysis, isothermal titration calorimetry, light
microscopy, rheological methods, microbalance techniques, and flow and
pulsed ultrafiltration methods to monitor ligand binding interactions.
Services offered include help with grant-writing, proof-reading and editing,
experimental design and data analysis, literature surveys and searches, help
with publication preparation, expert witness testimony, and technical
translation from German or Swedish into English.
