BACKGROUND:
Snider Scientific Consulting Group, LLC was founded and is managed by A. Monroe Snider, Ph.D. Dr. Snider graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed a Ph.D. in chemistry and post-doctoral studies in material science at the University of Pittsburgh. Employment has included technical and leadership positions in Mellon Institute, Merck, General Electric, PPG Industries, and RJ Lee Group and teaching at Robert Morris University and the Illinois Institute of Technology. His 30-plus years of technical work have focused on the development and application of diverse analytical techniques for bulk materials, surfaces and interfaces, and trace analytes. He has applied these techniques to solve a wide range of practical problems in basic and applied research, product development, manufacturing processes, product failure, product contamination, environmental pollution, and forensics. Dr. Snider is a seasoned expert witness and consultant in litigation that hinges on technical/scientific issues.

EXAMPLES OF COMPLETED PROJECTS:
- Assessed toxic substance contamination in Manhattan buildings that resulted from the 9/11 destruction of the World Trade Center to support $1B litigation.
- Developed and applied analytical methodology that demonstrated that defendant companies did not manufacturer asbestos-containing products that were the basis of multimillion dollar lawsuits.
- Served as expert witness and advisor for plaintiff in successful $100M suit over theft of trade secret dealing with coating formulation.
- Developed and applied analytical methodology that determined the identity and source of adulterant in pharmaceutical tablets.
