Dr. Vinny Sastri has over 20 years experience in new product development and quality improvement. He founded WINOVIA LLC, a consulting company that provides customized, sustainable solutions in new product development, quality improvement and high performance materials. WINOVIA LLC also conducts quality improvement and product development training using the Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma philosophy with the goal of strategic market penetration, improving efficiencies of products, processes and services, streamlining business processes, reducing operational costs, improving margins and increasing revenues and profits for its clients.
Technical solutions provided in product development in plastics in the areas of materials selection, materials chemistry, additive technology, structure/property relationships, compounding, extrusion, polymer synthesis, applications, commodity plastics, engineering thermoplastics, thermosets, and silicones, plastics compounding, materials formulation, alloys and blends and reactive extrusion. We use are experience in technology, quality, marketing, and training to provide integrated business solutions.
Dr. Sastri earned a Ph.D. from Rutgers University, and did post-doctoral work at Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute. He has over 20 publications and 5 patents.
