Expertise: Knowledge Useful in Stabilizing Dyes and Pigments to Light Fade. Dr. Saeva is a physical-organic chemist with over 25 years experience in mechanistic organic photochemistry and over 10 years experience preventing photochemistry with the objective of enhancing the light stability of imaging dyes and pigments. He was Chairman of the 1995 Gordon Research Conference on Organic Photochemistry and has 67 scientific publications and 38 US patents..

The light stability of colorants (dyes and pigments) is critically important for their application in imaging, i.e., conventional AgX, inkjet, electrophotographic and thermal dye transfer, as well as in clothing and household materials.
