Areas of Expertise:
Dr. Retallick conducts research in chemical engineering, chemical process design, and catalysts. He is currently developing a process for recovering carbon dioxide from the stack gas of coal-fired power plants. His previous research projects have been supported by the National Science Foundation and the Department of Energy
Dr. Retallick is one of three co-founders of the Catacel Corporation, an Ohio-based company that pioneered the design and manufacture of metal foil-based catalytic reactors. His industrial career has also included research and management positions at Oxy Catalyst, Inc., Air Products and Chemicals, Pittsburgh Consolidation Coal Company, and Phillips Petroleum.
