Bio:
Chemist/Engineer is available with a wide scope of expertise in field screening applications for chemical sensors and biosensors. He has a broad range of interdisciplinary work experience including trace analysis of energetic materials, bioanalytical techniques, polymer process monitoring, and synthetic polyelectrolyte probes. He has acquired in depth knowledge of subsystem integration, methods and protocol development, feasibility testing, and final product development.
Services:
- Assistance in upgrading quality control and testing laboratories from defining the user requirements to final installation of equipment.
- Developing custom equipment by designing and selecting components such as optical imaging and detection systems.
- Analyzing spectroscopic techniques that include but are not limited to UV-Vis, Raman, Fluorescence, FTIR for industrial processes such as polymer blending.
- Assistance in implementation of sampling and field screening detection of chemical constituents such as nitroaromatic and peroxide compounds, and biological species such as pathogens.
- Assistance in implementing designs for novel sensor devices that employ nucleic acid hybridization or conjugated polymer technologies.
