Bio:
Dernier Technologies, Inc. (DTI) was incorporated in 1999, in West Chester, Pennsylvania. DTI is a small, woman-owned business with expertise in Government Contracting; Energy (nuclear power, coal gasification), Semiconductor and flat panel process equipment design: Electronics/instrumentation/sensors; Business Development; Project Management; Business Computer Programming and Software Implementation.

Mr. deLesdernier has a B.S./M.S. Chemical Engineering and an M.B.A. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Chemical and Biological Engineering at Drexel University. As part of the Anthrax Detection Program, his initial research was in gas phase solid-solid heterogeneous reactions between pathogens and activated surfaces using air sampling and bio-sensors. This research led to the discovery of novel (patent pending) methods for direct detection of pathogens in air and for molecular control of surface coverage. He also integrated the bio-sensor into a COTS portable air sampler and developed a novel disposable packaging for the sensor and flow cell.
