Topic: Don and Sandy Vahlsing, "Living and Working in Asia"
Abstract: The Asian marketplace is booming and could be a great opportunity
for technical consultants. Don and Sandy Vahlsing just returned to the USA
after living in Hong Kong for 4 years where Don traveled extensively
throughout China, Korea, Japan and other Asian countries. Sandy worked
closely with their church and orphanages and will also describe her
experiences. This talk is a must for anyone who is seriously considering a
visit to or working in the far east.
Biography: Donald W. Vahlsing holds a BS ChE from the University of Michigan and his MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a principle and VP of
Effective Data Management, a computer software company located in Wisconsin
that markets it's products internationally. Sandy, Don's wife, has also
traveled extensively, raised a family of 4 children and is involved with many
volunteer groups.
Location: Wilson Student Center, Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science.
From Woodland Avenue going west, turn left onto 43 rd Street and take the
first left into the parking lot. Wilson is adjacent to the lot.
