The December 13, 2000 meeting of the CCN was held at the Cynwyd Club, Bala Cynwyd, PA. The meeting was to be a Vendors Night in which several individuals or groups of members prestented information about the services that they provide.

          The purpose of this format was really two-fold:

1. By acquainting our fellow members about our sevices, there would be a higher probability that fellow chemists might be able to join forces and obtain new and possibly larger or more complex projects.

2. In this way, the participating "exhibitors" would be to sharpen their methods of presenting themselves and their services.

About a dozen table exhibits were displayed. There were handouts, pampllets, and poster-borard type presentations. There was considerable back-and-forth between exhibitors and the more general membership.

Although it was agreed that this program was a great success, several members who had made reservations for space did not attend. After discussion, it was suggested that a fee be charged in advance of the meeting date in the future to help offset the preparation expenses for setting up the room and to assure that those who reserve will attend.

Attendance was about 30.

The meeting was adjourned about 7:30 PM.
