Date & Time: Wednesday, September 9th.  Mixer, 5:30 PM; Dinner, 6:30 PM; Talk and Business Session, 7:30 PM.
Topic: The program will focus on two, related, subjects: "Preparing Proposals and Pricing Assignments" by Peter R. Lantos

Abstract: How to Prepare an Effective Proposal will examine a format for a consultant’s proposal.  As basis, we will discuss the way Booz Allen structured professional proposals and the way The Target Group has modified it’s proposals in securing some 150 single-client assignments. How to Price an Assignment is a much more subjective issue.  Several options will be discussed, including the advantages and disadvantages of each. Ultimately, however, each consultant will need to decide on an appropriate pricing structure, perhaps using some of the insight gained in this discussion.
