Topic: Marketing for Chemical Consultants: the Web and Beyond.

Abstract
The Internet poses remarkable opportuities for all businesses. Each day more than 25,000 new pages appear on the Web, many with a specifically commercial appeal. However, few will ever receive more than a cursory glance. The big challenge is to cut through massive clutter and target the right message to potential customers. Our speaker, the President of Marketing Results, creates focused marketing programs for leading business web sites... or , as he puts it, "My job begins when the Webmaster's project ends." Come and learn the secrets of successful International web marketing.

Biography:

Jim Shulman is a veteran of target marketing, with a two-decade career spanning many facets of consumer and industrial sales. He has sold specialty tools through catalogs, offered collectable models via telmarketing, produced Public Television programming for auto restoration enthusiasts, and marketed classical music under the Quattro Corde [KWAT-ROE CORD-AY] imprint. Jim is currently President of Marketing Results, a Bryn Mawr firm which specializes in marketing planning for business websites. Meeting Location: The Cynwyd Club, Bala Cynwyd, PA. From City Line Ave (Route #1) drive north west on Conshohocken State Road (Route #23) about 3 long blocks. Continue north on Trevor Lane instead of following Route #23 left. At "Y" in road one block north on Trevor Lane, turn left where clubhouse and parking are on the left side of the road. Please park in lot if space is available; otherwise, park on Trevor Lane. If lost, call the club at 610-667-4524.

Reservation:Dinner is by reservation only. To make or cancel a reservation, leave an emailE-Mail: Phila ACS or call the ACS office at 215-382-1589 no later than noon, April 5th. 2001. Leave a message on the machine if necessary. Meeting fee is $20. No-shows will be invoiced. No call needed if attending for presentation only.
