Topic:Chemical Consultant’s Network - 10th Anniversary!
Abstract: The Chemical Consultants Network is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The CCN has been the source of networking, project leads, general encouragement and technical/administrative/marketing advice to its members since its founding meeting at the University of Pennsylvania in the fall of 1994. It is the first and only organization of its kind with American Chemical Society and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers sponsorship.
Our program is intended to be a celebration of the successes we have observed and had reported from our many members. It will consist of a shortened networking session during which a first wine course and appetizers will be served. Dinner will follow during which three (3) additional wines will be sampled. A narrative on the wines and their fit with the foods being served will be presented by Hudson Austin, noted wine expert who is associated with the Wine Merchant of King of Prussia. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about wines and to special order wines that will be provided for this event.
We encourage you to bring your spouses and friends and to also invite members of our sister organizations, the ACS and AIChE, to join us in what promises to be a very enjoyable evening.
Reservation: To make or cancel a dinner reservation, e-mail CCNReservations@aol.com or call the ACS office at 215-382-1589 (leave message on voicemail if necessary). Fee, including food and beverages, is $35 provided reservations are made before 6 PM Friday, January 7th; $40 if made subsequently by 10 AM Monday, January 10th. If no reservation is made by the final deadline, food and beverages will not be available unless a cancellation occurs. No-shows will be invoiced.
